The Bouncy Dress Women of my Instagram Feed

 

and with that, racism was defeated

Lately, I've been seeing largely – but not exclusively – black women on instagram showing off their lovely bouncy dresses. They are often referring not to the bouncy dress, but instead to "those bouncy dress ladies on my instagram feed" it was, at least a few weeks ago –and exclusive to a select group– a global phenomenon contained to my phone. I find this a beautiful display of unity among women and a small respite from the discomfort of the world. also the bounce is gorgeous and hilarious.
